FORTECID PMK CONCENTRATED PRODUCT AGAINST RED MITE AND OTHER MITES PARASITES OF BIRDS 50 ml

FORTECID® PMK - Liquid formulation

with physical action for the control of parasites in shelters for birds and reptiles

Characteristics and field of use: FORTECID® PMK is a concentrated emulsifiable product recommended for use in farms and shelters for birds and reptiles. Its physical mechanism of action (by external immobilization) prevents parasites from developing resistance to the product. It is indicated in the case of infestations of parasitic mites of birds such as chicken red mite (Dermanyssus gallinae), ornithophilous mites such as the northern chicken mite (Ornithonyssus sylviarum) and the mange mite of the legs (Knemidocoptes mutans), mite of rats (Ornithonyssus bacoti), reptile mite (Ophionyssus natricis), tenebrione (Alphitobius diaperinus) and other insects. The product does not penetrate into animal organs or eggs.

Methods and doses of application:

FORTECID® PMK

it should be used at a concentration of 0.6% (6 ml of product in 1 L of water); one liter of the solution obtained is suitable for treating about 10 m2. First fill the tank with water and then add the recommended amount of product. Prepare only the amount of solution required for the treatment.

To distribute the solution use a hand or mechanical compression sprayer equipped with a fan nozzle (the dispersion angle should be 80-110 °, the pressure of 0.3 Mpa and the recommended liquid droplet size is 80- 120 μm). Apply to infested areas such as cracks and crevices, perches, nests, cages, reptile terrariums, interiors of shelters.

The treatment must be carried out at night, about 1 hour after the lights have been switched off, when the birds are calm.

Use warning: at the indicated concentration it can also be applied in the presence of animals, taking care not to direct the spray towards the animal.

Do not apply directly to the animal.
